Peter Facinelli showing off his six-pack
Peter Facinelli, a well-known actor, and producer who is also famous for his role as Dr. Carlisle Cullen in The Twilight universe have proved to be an example of the new fitness standards under quarantine. He has lost 30 pounds during this period. He uploaded a picture of himself showcasing his work and his fit and well-built structure he has been working on.
Fitness and fitness regimes have drastically changed over the pandemic. Everyone we know had some focus on fitness during the quarantine. The daily routine of a person eventually became so dull that ironically for even the people who have been avoiding their fitness, found some solace in it. During the lockdown, gyms were shut down and people were staying inside to avoid the deadly virus.
A new campaign
Peter recently launched a NicTailorNoPants Campaign in partnership with the Prostate Cancer Foundation sponsored by Nic Tailor Underwear to influence men to talk about their prostate health. In this campaign, to spread awareness he requests his male followers to post a picture of themselves in an underwear/bathing suit and to tag 3 other friends to do the same.
He addresses in an interview that his uncle and father have fought prostate cancer. There are over 14 million cases of prostate cancer every year. It is only curable if it is diagnosed early. With the help of this campaign, people would be more aware and would be more serious about their yearly checkups.
This S.W.A.T team also requested all the females to encourage the men around them by spreading awareness regarding the campaign. Well, Peter surely through this campaign and its corresponding photo has been able to impress his fans. Not only has he been successful at making us aware of his message and cause but also paraded us as to how important it is to pivot towards fitness.
He also got engaged this year to Lily Anne Harrison who he has been dating since last year. He also has three daughters Luca, Lola, and Fiona with his ex-wife Jennie Garth.
During this global pandemic, people have been trying to find new hobbies for themselves. They have been looking for something that can occupy their time. For those, who were heavily dependent on gyms and their trainers have been somewhat complaining due to the virus. Peter, on the other hand, got into home workouts and has spent a lot of time working on himself and to achieve some of his fitness goals.
He also says “I know it’s a vulnerable ask… but it’s a vulnerable conversation and we need to get it started”. Prostate Cancer is treatable and still many men lose their lives by not being cautious and careful. Hopefully, this campaign has a positive impact on the world and would help anyone who is suffering from Prostate Cancer. Stay safe! Be Alert!
