ABC’s ‘Shark Tank’ will premiere its first episode of the renewed season 12 in mid-October. Based on the ‘Dragon’s Den’ that premiered its first season in 2009, the show is coming back to our television screens with a new season with new business ventures. Taking all the necessary precautions for the Covid-19 outbreak, the show will be held in Las Vegas this season in a controlled environment.
SHARK TANK SEASON 12 HELD IN LAS VEGAS
With the increasing number of cases in California, the production team of Shark Tank decided to move the show from Culver City. It is one of the few television series that managed to film a new season amidst the pandemic. This season will differ from the previous ones because of the social distancing and appropriate measures being taken.
Shark Tank started back in 2009 is one of the highest-rated television shows in the United States. Six multi-millionaire entrepreneurs (or Sharks) are judges to various small entrepreneurs and start-ups. They come in for the need for funding and expertise of the sharks. In turn, the sharks look at the business models and then decide on making offers and deals individually based on their own understanding of the business and industries.
The sharks get paid for their roles in the television show, but the money invested by them comes out of their pockets. There are many guest sharks on the show every season. The main sharks who appear to be the face of Shark Tank are Mark Cuban (owner of Dallas Mavericks), Daymond John (founder of FUBU), Barbara Corcoran (real estate brokerage), Kevin O’Leary (former president of The Learning Company), Lori Greiner (CEO of For Your Ease Only), and Robert Herjavec (founder of BRAK Systems).
ALL THE JUDGES REUNITE AMID THE PANDEMIC
All the six sharks will be returning for the upcoming season of Shark Tank. This season’s guest appearances are Alex Rodriguez, Kendra Scott, Daniel Lubetzky, and Blake Mycoskie. The six sharks of each episode will be sitting at a three-meter distance from each other. The set will be fully sanitized, and the judges and the production team will follow a regular testing schedule.
Due to the pandemic in 2020, many businesses have been experiencing a hard time. The source of income for many families is at a dead end. In these tough times, many entrepreneurs will need sharks to expand their companies to get back on track.
A TOUGH ROAD FOR THE ENTREPRENEURS IN THE NEW SHARK TANK
As seen from the upcoming season trailer on YouTube, it will be a tough road for entrepreneurs. Convincing the sharks to invest in their company will be a challenging task for them. Cuban is one of the sharks who wishes to help out every company because of his kind nature. While Kevin is the exact opposite of Cuban, he expresses his negative opinions on the product without hesitation. What will happen? Find out in the next season!
The new season of Shark Tank will release on 16th October 2020 on the ABC network.
