We’re sure you’re aware of the famous saying: “Couples that slay together, stay together.” Joe Jonas and his wife Sophie Turner took this up a notch. The duo stepped out for a date night in Los Angeles on Saturday, decked in outfits that can provide anyone with a styling lesson on the tonal dressing.
Turner, 25, recently welcomed her and her husband Joe’s first child together. She opted for a high-neck criss-cross wrap top in a fiery red and orange with a striped pattern design. Her vibrant ensemble was elevated with a pair of orange lounge trousers that flare at the bottom that featured abstract designs in the shade similar to the top while also incorporating a salmon shade. Turner layered with a black leather shoulder jacket that she wore across her arms, which added just the right about of grunge to the look.
Accessorizing is essential to finish any look, and Sophie did a great job here as well. With gold hoop earrings, strappy orange sandals, and a Louis Vuitton handbag to match the leather jacket. Sophie looked very put together. Her bright blonde hair was slicked back into a ponytail, and she had on cat-eye-style makeup. Her coral-hued shoes featured a rounded toe.
The Game of Thrones star created a fully-rounded look with a combination of shades that remain in the same family. This is the key to the latest trend, tonal dressing. Turner’s outfit was about mixing and matching patterns without her outfit looking busy.
Meanwhile, her 31-years old husband decided to rock it out with a pair of brown trousers coupled with a matching, short-sleeved shirt, which was left unbuttoned. Joe accessorized lightly, but his colorful, beaded necklace was proof enough that the singer is up to date with the latest trades and not afraid of showcasing them. He also had on a casual pair of converse. The star couple also wore matching beige protective face masks with strings in a darker brown shade. That’s the level of tonal detail we all need to see this year!
