The Apple TV+ show released its season 2 trailer for the show, Ted Lasso, giving us all the confirmed tickets for all the cast members returning. The show is about a former college football coach who leads a soccer club at the English Premier League. Season 1, which was originally aired from August to October 2020, massively won the hearts of its viewers. 

Here’s the list of all the characters confirmed for a comeback.

Jason Sudeikis as Ted Lasso

Jason Sudeikis reprises his role as Ted Lasso, the head coach of the AFC Richmond and the series’ protagonist. He appears in the Ted Lasso season 2 trailer and attempts to get everyone back together. From 2005 to 2013, Sudeikis was a cast member of Saturday Night Live.

Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton

Rebecca Welton, the director of AFC Richmond, is played by Hannah Waddingham again. Early in the season 2 teaser, she offers coach Lasso a drink and later reveals that she is dating someone named John.

Juno Temple as Keeley Jones

Juno Temple repeats her role as Keeley Jones, a member of the AFC Richmond staff. She appears in several scenes, including one with her boyfriend, Roy Kent.

Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard

Brendan Hunt reprises his role as Ted’s associate, Coach Beard. He appears in several scenes and cracks a New York Jets joke.

Nick Mohammed as Nathan Shelley

Nathan Shelley, the team’s kit man who was raised to assistant coach in season one, is portrayed by Nick Mohammed again. Halfway through the season 2 teaser, he appears and says that AFC Richmond has been unlucky.

Jeremy Swift as Leslie Higgins

Leslie Higgins, the AFC Richmond director of operations, is played by Jeremy Swift yet again. In a few scenes, he appears and advises hiring a sports psychologist.

Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent

Brett Goldstein returns as Roy Kent, a long-serving AFC Richmond player who is pursuing Keeley and considering retiring. In the Ted Lasso season 2 teaser, he can be seen smiling at his girlfriend on a bench and also in a car scene.

Toheeb Jimoh as Sam Obisanya

Kola Bokinni as Isaac

The role of Isaac, the AFC Richmond vice-captain, is handled by Kola Bokinni again. During a celebration time in the Ted Lasso season 2 trailer, he makes a cameo.

Annette Badland as Mae

Annette Badland retells her part as Mae, the proprietor of a local tavern. In the Ted Lasso season 2 trailer, she reacts negatively to an AFC Richmond incident.

Ted Lasso’s second season will air on Apple TV+ on July 23, 2021. The second season will consist of 12 episodes, which is two more than the first.
