Just when we were thinking it had been a while since we saw our favorite pop stars serving glamor, the BRIT awards 2021 came up to serve up sartorial royalty. Tuesday night saw the music industry’s heavyweights put their best fashion foot forward for the BRIT Awards 2021.
Dear God, have we missed the red carpet? When stars arrived at the 02 arena, they hit the red carpet for a photo moment like the naturals they were. They then headed inside the east London venue and joined 4,000 guests present to watch the show. It aired on ITV at 20:00 hours.
The BRIT Awards is the first indoor live music event in more than a year. It is also the first red carpet of a massive scale that London’s witnessed ever since the pandemic began last year. All attendees left no stones unturned and went all-out on the glitz to help save the red carpet. We’ve put together a list of our favorite red carpet moments of the night.

In a well-tailored double-breasted suit from Gucci coupled with an archival bamboo bag on his arms, the Watermelon Sugar singer sure came dressed for the gods. However, he stayed true to his aesthetic by putting on a slightly unbuttoned dress shirt underneath. Classic Styles. The 27-years old star finished the look with gum-sole sneakers.

If there’s one star who knows how to walk the red carpet, it’s Dua Lipa. The One Kiss singer brought retro back in a campy corseted look on the red carpet. If we didn’t know better, we’d think a modern, punk-rock Marie Antoinette had decided to show up. Her cowl-neck dress had a beautiful long train. The stocking garters, platform lace-up boots, and bouffant hairdo added a beautiful Dua Lipa feel.
Decked in: Balmain
British singer Rina Sawamaya brought the house down when she arrived in a tiered, ruffled gown from Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2019 couture collection on the red carpet. The Daliesque look was completed with her hair entirely slicked to the back with beautiful and ornate jewelry that gave us fantasy fashion for weeks.

The Folklore singer went down in history as the first woman to have won the Global Icon Award, and she accepted the award in style. She nailed the minimal chic look in a two-piece silver outfit trimmed with intricate embellishments. The high bra top paired with the column maxi skirt brought out a regal silhouette. An icon, indeed.

The Summer Girl singing trio declared the new summer uniform when they decided to skip huge free-flowing gowns you always see on the red carpet. Instead, in dapper, menswear-inspired tailoring, the band showed off their refreshing urban cool-girl style. Their solo styles were different but uniquely complementing each other.

Olly Alexander, the lead singer of Years & Years, nailed the feathered trend like nobody else ever has. With a star-emblazoned suit from Gucci, he gave us some major retro feels. His iconic yet subdued look seemed to be a tribute to style icon Elton John and his statement-making outfits. A leather harness and mixed-metal rings gave Olly’s look more edge. Grunge is yum!
