Kaley Cuoco recently revealed that if a Big Bang Theory reunion show were to happen, she would be totally down for it.
The actress, who played Penny on the popular CBS sitcom, recently told Yahoo! Entertainment that she would unquestionably be open to some sort of reunion. She can’t wait for the Friends reunion to air and is thus open and excited to the idea of a Big Band Theory reunion as well.
The Harley Quinn voice actor added she still feels like it was only yesterday they wrapped up the show’s eleventh and final season. “I think everyone is kind of trying out their new paths and seeing what their next project is. And I’m excited to see how everyone flourishes. I think in a few years or whenever anyone’s open to it, I definitely will be down for that. It was a life-changing experience for all of us, and it’d be great to do that for the fans, too, because we had such an amazing fan base that stuck with us for so long,” she said.
Cuoco, 35, also talked about her close friendship with actor Johnny Galecki, who portrayed Leonard in the sitcom. “Johnny and I are very close. We talk multiple times a week. In fact, he literally — as this phone call started — he had just sent me a picture of his baby. He loves sending me baby pictures. So I know it’s really cute, we’re really close.”
What’s interesting to note is that Cuoco talking about a potential reunion comes shortly after her co-star Mayim Bialik, who played Dr. Amy Fowler on the show, also shared thoughts about the reunion. However, she said it was still very soon to talk about it. She hasn’t heard anything but counts herself lucky as she can still work with Jim Parsons. Parsons had played her onscreen husband Sheldon Cooper and is currently an executive producer on Bialik’s new show Call Me Kat.
Cuoco didn’t just voice the titular character in HBO Max’s Harley Quinn animated series but also recently starred in HBO Max’s comedy-drama series, The Flight Attendant, which received critical acclaim.
