Surprise! Ariana Grande and beau Dalton Gomez have tied the knot!
The Break Free singer married her luxury real estate agent boyfriend Dalton Gomez at her home in Los Angeles on Sunday.
“It was tiny and intimate – less than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love,” Grande’s representative told People magazine. “The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.”
The small and intimate ceremony was at the couple’s home in Montecito, California. “Both Ari and Dalton love Montecito. They spend a lot of time there. So it seems only natural that they would get married at Ari’s beautiful and historic house,” a source said.
Grande had announced her engagement to Gomez via Instagram in December. She posted photos of the two and her diamond and pearl ring. The caption was serious goals: “forever n then some.”
The newly-married couple had started dating in January 2020 and spent the pandemic together, social distancing at her L.A. home.
The couple’s first public official appearance together was in a music video for Stuck with U, a charity song she recorded along with pop singer Justin Bieber during the coronavirus lockdown in California.
Stuck with U tells a story many couples in the pandemic have grown familiar with- forced to settle down together or be kept apart thanks to social distancing restrictions. However, the experience seemed to work out perfectly for the 27-years old pop singer.
“They couldn’t be happier, and they’re just so excited. It is a happy time for the couple, and both sets of parents are thrilled,” a source told PEOPLE at the time.
Grande had shared romantic photos with Gomez in early April. “!!! My heart, my person !!! thank u so much for being u,” she captioned the pictures.
This came a month after the couple was spotted on a date night in Los Angeles. The Grammy-award winner and Gomez preferred to keep their relationship out of the spotlight. “He likes keeping his relationship with Ari private,” a source had informed PEOPLE previously.
The singer’s family is very happy for the couple. They love Dalton and believe he is great for Grande. This phase of her life has been very quiet and uneventful, but that’s in a good way. Her family is supportive and very happy that she is marrying Dalton.
Grande was also engaged to stand-up comedian and actor Pete Davidson in 2018.
