Kim Kardashian has recently revealed that despite the difficult experience, she is going to retake the baby bar exam. Kim Kardashian had been trying to become a lawyer for over a year, but she finds herself no closer to getting her license to practice law as she missed a passing grade on the baby bar exam.

The 40-year-old socialite revealed during a Q&A session with fans on her Instagram Story on Wednesday that while her experience of taking the baby bar exam has been “extremely difficult,” she will be taking the exam up again.

“Unfortunately, I haven’t passed yet, but I’m not giving up. I’m preparing to take it again soon,” Kardashian shared on her Instagram Story.

In a sneak peek for Thursday’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim Kardashian confessed to her sisters that she failed her first-year law student examination.

“If you do law school the way that I’m doing it, it is a four-year program instead of your typical three-year program. Then, after year one, you have to take the baby bar. This one actually is harder, I hear than the official bar.”

While opening up to her sisters Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian, Kim also admitted to being hesitant to take the test again. She said that she was a failure and that not passing gets your spirits down, making you want to give up.

Kim added: “I’m filming the ending of our show, which will be so emotional. I have every birthday under the sun, and it’s my 40th. I planned this whole trip, and now it’s too late to cancel. So if I fail again, it’s like, what’s the point?”

The sisters agreed that if Kim waited until June this year to retake the test, she could lose the momentum that she has built up. Kim also said that she felt like she had gotten to the end where she almost knew everything. She could try or give up. She really needed to think about it.

Kim first announced her plans to become a lawyer in 2019. She had decided to follow in the footsteps of her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr. Her father was a former high-powered attorney known for representing O.J. Simpson in the famous 1995 murder trial. Kardashian had been working on completing a four-year law apprenticeship and intended to take the bar in 2022.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashian star attended Pierce College in Los Angeles, but she never graduated. But California and three other states in the U. S. let you pass the bar without attending law school. This can be achieved by reading the law or apprenticing with a practicing lawyer or judge.

“It’s never one person who gets things done but it’s a collective of people. I’ve always known my role, but I felt like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society. I just felt like the system could be so different, and I wanted to fight to fix it, and if I knew more, I could do more,” Kim told Vogue in 2019.

The reality star is set to appear in CNN anchor Van Jones’s upcoming documentary, The First Step. Jones is a lawyer too, and he recently spoke about Kim’s progress in her pursuit to become an attorney.

During a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jones was all praises for Kim: “She’s doing amazing; she has used her platform to help people behind bars. Her dad was a lawyer, and she always wanted to be a lawyer.”

The 52-years old anchor also mentioned that after Kim Kardashian had gotten a taste of what she could do using her platform and her brain, she hasn’t let up. He believes she will be an unbelievable attorney and is already one of the best advocates that the country has in criminal justice.
