Last week, the former teenage popstar virtually addressed the court to withdraw her 14-year conservatorship. Now, her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears is sharing her thoughts on Britney’s conservatorship, though the ‘Sweet Magnolias’ actress did not respond to any of Britney’s accusations regarding her conservatorship, such as being forced for an IUD implantation.
Jamie Spears did deny some of the fans assertions that she passively allowed Britney to be taken advantage of.
“I just want to take a moment to few concerns.” The actress continued “The lone is didn’t spoke before because I felt like Britney was able to speak for herself and say what she felt she needed to say publicly that it wasn’t my place and it wasn’t the right thing to do. But now that she’s very clearly spoken and said what she needed to say, I feel like I can follow her lead and say what I feel I need to say.”
The actress continued to address accusations saying that her silence on Britney Conservatorship has something to do with money as earlier Britney has blamed her family for controlling her finances for their own personal benefit.
Jamie Lynn said “I’ve been paying my bills since I was ten. Not that I owe the world anything because Britney knows I love and support her. She’s the only person I owe everything to. I’m my own person, I’m not my family and I speak for myself”. She told the media that she has made a “conscious decision” to only speak as Britney’s younger sister.
Like Britney Jamie Lynn Spears rose to fame in Hollywood at a young age.
Jamie appeared in Zoey 101, Nickelodeon’s All That and Netflix’s Sweet Magnolias.
