Zola Movie Trailer
The trailer shows Taylour Paige, who recently appeared in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom) as the Protagonist and the teller of the story. The movie also stars “The Girlfriend Experience” actress Riley Keough as Stefani who takes Zola on a crazy road trip.
The real story behind Zola and the road trip
In her 148 tweets, Zola describes meeting Jessica (who Zola thought was a pole dancer). It was later revealed that Jessica was a sex worker at the hooters where she was working. She didn’t know this event is going to change her life forever.
She wrote “Y’all wanna hear a story about why me and this b****here fell out? It’s a long story but full of suspense.”
Zola plunged deep into a wild tale of prostitution, sex, suicide, murder and chilling drama. At Hooters, Jessica and Zola traded phone numbers over their mutual enthusiasm for pole dancing spurring Stefani to ask Zola to join her on a cross-country road trip with her “roommate” Z and boyfriend, Jarrett.
The duo wanted to bring in as much cash from dancing in Florida strip clubs. In her tweets, Zola mentioned that she was enticed to gain $15,000 from dancing in strip clubs for just a couple of weeks.
However, things took a drastic and unusual turn during their impromptu road trip. Zola’s and Jessica’s cash pouring road trip had been crashed by a psychotic pimp, a caring boyfriend and a life-threatening encounter with Tampa Gangsters.
