The Gotham Crime Saga Continues in The Penguin Series: Theo Rossi Joins the Cast
The Penguin series is set a week after The Batman.

The highly anticipated HBO Max series, The Penguin, which is based on the Batman supervillain, has recently cast Theo Rossi for a key recurring role alongside Clancy Brown, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Cristin Milioti, and Colin Farrell. The series is being produced by Warner Bros. Television and DC Studios, with The Batman director Matt Reeves, Dylan Clark, Lauren LeFranc, and Craig Zobel as executive producers.
The Penguin serves as a continuation of The Batman, with Farrell reprising his role as the titular character. The series centers around Farrell’s character and follows the crime saga of Batman over eight episodes. Milioti will play the female lead, Sofia Falcone, while Farrell, Dylan Clark, and Lauren LeFranc will serve as executive producers.

Reeves’ 6th & Idaho Productions and Dylan Clark Productions are producing The Penguin in association with Warner Bros Television. Daniel Pipski and Rafi Crohn are serving as executive producer and co-executive producer, respectively. The series is based on characters created for DC by Bob Kane with Bill Finger.

The Movie’s Marketing Campaign: Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part One
Like the previous Mission: Impossible movies, the marketing campaign for this movie focuses on Tom Cruise’s death-defying feats. The trailer released in May 2022 revealed the first footage of Cruise’s insane cliff-jumping stunt. Paramount later released an extended behind-the-scenes look at what they called “the biggest stunt in cinema history.” The stunt involves Cruise riding a motorcycle off a cliff and then base-jumping to a point below. To perfect this stunt, Cruise underwent a year of base training, advanced skydiving training, canopy control, and several other skills. He performed the stunt six times on the day of filming to get the perfect shot.

The poster for the movie features Cruise and his motorcycle in free fall. Cruise makes the jump look even more dangerous. It is clear that this death-defying stunt is the primary focus of the movie’s marketing campaign. Also, it will be the main attraction getting butts in seats when the movie releases on July 14, 2023.
