The real-life married couple Ethan Embry and Sunny Mabry have joined the cast as Arthur and Crystal Brown. Doug Bradley has joined as Joe Chill, the man who murdered Bruce Wayne’s parents.

Duela, an unpredictable fighter and skilled thief, Harper Row, a streetwise engineer who can fix anything, and her transgender teen brother Cullen Row are the ones who join Turner in the frame.

Finally, they are the Gotham Knights, who must band together to become the next generation of saviors to protect the city from a larger and more dangerous force at work within Gotham City.

Misha Collins revealed that they tried to work it out to have Jensen Ackles play Batman on the show. Ackles was pretty excited about the prospect, especially since he already voices Batman for the animated movies. However, Ackles was unable to join the cast due to his commitments to another show. Furthermore, Collins also joked about having Jared Padalecki play a tall villain, perhaps the Penguin on stilts or Talon.
